Become a Flagship APE District

Flagship Adapted Physical Education (APE) programs provide students with disabilities, ages Pre-K through 21, access to meaningful, individualized physical education that supports lifelong participation, health and independence.

Through standards-aligned instruction, data-driven IEPs and a continuum of inclusive and specialized services, the program addresses each student’s unique motor, sensory and social needs.

Delivered by trained APE professionals in collaboration with school teams and families, it emphasizes functional skill development, consistent progress monitoring, and equitable access - establishing APE as a vital and high-impact component of the child’s educational experience.
