Who We Are

The Davis Group provides consultation and professional development services to school districts and other physical fitness organizations so that they are better equipped to serve a wider audience of youth. Our expertise uniquely bridges the various disciplines of physical education, occupational therapy and physical therapy to offer evidence-based, actionable strategies for ensuring the health of youth through adapted movement.

Our Approach

Nearly 20% of youth in the US are diagnosed with a developmental disability including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cerebral palsy (CP), and others. Research points to significant benefits of physical activity such as increased mobility, heightened social skills and improved academic performance. With a focus on inclusion, we inspire educators to identify and meet the needs of all students in and out of the classroom.

"Dr. Tim’s collaborative spirit and solutions-based approach allowed us to transform our mindset and programming, always keeping a student-first focus at the heart of the work. He doesn’t just identify hurdles; he provides the solutions needed to bridge the gap for our learners and shares them with the teachers to implement."

Heidi K. Allen, Director of Special Education, East Syracuse Minoa CSD
